Unfortunately, we are unable to verify the validity of tickets that you have not purchased directly from Ticketmaster yourself either directly or through Ticketmaster Resale. Due to privacy concerns, we can only have a dialogue with you about tickets that are on your personal Ticketmaster account. This means that we cannot answer questions about tickets you have purchased via other sources, such as Finn.no, Facebook, viagogo or onlineticketssshop. Name changes on such tickets is not available.
If you decide to purchase tickets through other sources than Ticketmaster, we recommend the following:
1. Be skeptical
2. Demand identification, and check that it is the same name as on the ticket.
3. Pay via bank/vipps.
4. When buying via Facebook, check the profile. Fake profiles are often new, and have very little info.
5. Think through that there is a possibility that you will end up buying tickets that are not valid - you will not be allowed in to the event even if you have traveled far and paid a lot of money for tickets, travel and hotel if you do not have a valid ticket. For example, an apparently valid ticket may have been resold in many copies.
6. Always report fraud to the police and report to the applicable platform (e.g. Finn.no)
Please note that the purchase and sale of tickets through all sources other than Ticketmaster takes place at your own risk. Ticketmaster does not cooperate in any way with Viagogo, onlineticketshop or similar resale websites.
Charging more than face value (black market) for a ticket is defined as illegal according to Norwegian legislation. If you come across tickets that are sold for more than face value, we recommend reporting this to the platform in question (e.g. Facebook) and possibly reporting the matter to the police. Ticketmaster cannot help in any way if you have purchased tickets at a higher price than face value via other sources.
