Always check the event information to see the status of your event. If the event is open for refunds, it will describe what happens to the ticket(s) and what you may have to do.
Note! If an event is cancelled, Ticketmaster will only refund according to the organiser's regulations. Service charges, postage and invoice fees are not refunded. Collector surcharges are not refunded if the ticket(s) have already been sent out.
If the event has been cancelled, but I can't find any information about a refund.
We are dependent on information from the organiser. In some cases, we have been told to mark the event as canceled before further information has been set. We therefore ask you to wait to get in touch until you have received more information about what applies to the event.
If the ticket(s) are refunded automatically, but I can't find the amount in my bank account.
We always refund back to the original payment method. Note that the payment can come from "Billettservice AS" or "Ticketmaster", and that the payment can take up to 60 days after the event has been marked as cancelled.
- If you have paid by card (VISA, Mastercard etc.), the amount will be refunded back to the card that was used for the purchase.
- If you have paid with VIPPS, Klarna and Paypal, the amount will be refunded back to the account that was used.
- If you have paid with a gift card or by phone, we need an account number for reimbursement. Submit an inquiry via "My Account" and attach the account number to which you want us to transfer the amount.
- If you have bought tickets at a local ticket office or via another point of sale, this place must be contacted for a refund of tickets.
If the event has been cancelled, but in other channels it says that the event will be moved?
It happens that the organizer wants to mark the event as canceled before further information has been set. It may therefore be that events that were originally marked as canceled will later be moved to a new date. In these cases, the ticket(s) you have will be valid until the new date. You will be contacted by the organizer with information about what applies.
Refunds are made automatically, but I have changed my bank. What should I do?
If you have changed your bank after the tickets were purchased, we recommend that you contact your old bank and inform them that the money has been returned to them. The bank usually collect such cases and contact relevant customers in due course, but this can take longer. Please contact the bank yourself. Unfortunately, Ticketmaster cannot do anything in such cases, as the amount has already been refunded and out of our system.
I have not been notified that the cancellation and refund deadline has expired. Can I still get a refund?
Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the organizer and refunds according to the organizer's regulations. Inquiries submitted after the deadline will not be refunded.
You can read more about what applies to canceled and rescheduled events under our purchase conditions.
