Did you purchase tickets but now see better seats or options available? We may be able to help with an exchange if the event is at least seven days away. We’ll let you know if you qualify when you submit your request.
A per ticket exchange fee may apply.
You are eligible for a ticket exchange if:
- You purchased your tickets directly from Ticketmaster
- The organizer approves exchanges/upgrades
- You didn’t receive your tickets through Ticket Transfer, Resale, or from a third-party site
- There are at least 7 days left until the event
Your new tickets must meet the following requirements:
- Tickets are available for you to book while we process your exchange request
- New tickets must be of equal or greater price than your current tickets.
- New tickets must be purchased on the same Ticketmaster account as your current tickets.
- Generally, they must be for the same event, venue and date. At their discretion, some Event Organizers allow exchanges for a long running series, such as theatrical shows.
- New tickets must be indicated by a blue dot on the seat map. Pink dots indicate Fan-to-Fan Resale tickets, which can’t be purchased via an exchange.
Please see our Purchase Policy for more information.
To submit an exchange request, sign into Ticketmaster Account, find the order in question and click Contact Us. You must submit a request through your Ticketmaster Account and receive confirmation before you can exchange your tickets.
- Transfer the tickets to your friends and family. Not all events are eligible, but if yours is, you’ll see a blue Transfer Tickets button.
- Sell the tickets to another fan. If the Sell button is enabled on your order, you can resell your tickets. If Resale is unavailable, your tickets can't be resold.
Certain ticket types can't be resold, even if Resale is available for the event. This information will be displayed after you click Sell.
